Living in a Bubble

My daughter and I were at the park feeding donkey’s last weekend, a popular activity among families in Cali.  During our last visit, a father was taking pictures of his daughter feeding the donkey.   My little one managed to throw herself in every picture.  I finally apologized and asked her to step to the side.  She looked puzzled as i explained that this other family probably didn’t want her in all their pictures not to mention being passed down from generation to generation on the internet.   Interestingly the father replied “i don’t mind her being in the picture, we are here together, and thank goodness who wants to live in a bubble”.  This got me thinking about my own photo album, a collection of people and places i know personally.  My own bubble!  Wouldn’t it be interesting to pop those bubbles around us and include more people in our lives.   Something to ponder as we go through our day. 

Cool Science Fact:  Even space has bubbles, the picture above is of a Bubble Nebula (the smallest of the 3).
